About the Winner

Anna has a lust for adventure; as a passionate SCUBA diver she's done her share of exploring, and loves to share those tales through writing. Her research on epigenetics at the University of Toronto inspired her epic about the travels of a tiny red blood cell through the body. Anna loves writing because it allows her to explore language, using beautiful words that aren't often heard in spoken conversation.
